# Arc of Circle

Arc is the one part of the circumference in mathematics. Let’s say we have a circle, and a piece of pizza on it that is we call it as a Sector of a Circle. Measure the area is equal to some fraction divided by 360 times the area of a circle which is pie r square. To find the length of the ARC, it will be sum fraction which is M divided by 360 times 2Pie r. We will be using the circumference which is 2 pie r. In the same way the area of the sector is the fraction of the area of the circle and the length of arc is a fraction of the circumference of the circle. Area of the semi-circle is 1/2 times pie r here R is radius)square, arc of length = 1/2 2 pie r .later we will also study how to find the quarter area of the circle where in area is 1/4 times pie r square and the arc length is 1/4 times pie r. In semicircle we know that angle the center of the circle is 180, we understand that area is 180/360 times pie r sqr. The answer comes as 1/2 pie r sqr.

To understand more in a simpler way, we shall take one more example. Where the Arch is 134 degrees and the radius is 8 cm .we need to find the arc length. M/360times 2pie r. After inserting the given data, 134/360 times 2*22/7(8) comes to 16*134/360=5.9555in fraction 268/45 pie cm. That comes to 18.71 cm. Thus the length of the Arch is 18.71 cm.

Another set of question to determine the length of the Arch of a circle. Here the radius is 6m and the measurement angle is 40 degrees.so find the length of the arch .as the formula we know M/360times 2pie r, thus inserting the given data as, 40/360 *2 pie (6) next step 1/9 times 12pie then 4/3pie and
