(15 marks) Question 2(70 marks) Select an existing listed public company that you are familiar with and analyse the audited financial statements for the last two years. You are required to attach the company’s Income Statement and the Statement of Financial Position in the Appendix. The report should include: i. An Introduction, which includes: a. The name, back ground, vision and mission of the company, including the area of operation b. The objective of the assignment ii. An analysis of the financial statements using any three ratios as follows, using appropriate sub-headings: a. Liquidity b. Profitability c. Efficiency d. Capital Structure iii. Findings and conclusions which includes: a. The student’s own finding from the analysis, and b. Suggestions to improve the company’s overall performance.
