Throughout the semester you will attend Masterclasses presented by various inspiring business leaders and presenters. You will need to reflect on what these leaders have said, and how these insights resonate with you and your goals. Listen carefully to their stories, think about the topics that are being covered in BUS10012, identify what you have learnt from the presenters about their careers, and what actions you can implement to help you reach your own personal goals. During some of the Masterclasses (weeks 2, 8 and 10), you will work in small groups and be guided through the reflection process. This will assist you to create an ‘artefact’ such as a poem, acronym or picture that captures in a creative way your group’s discussion around key learnings emerging from the Masterclass. You will individually take away the 'artefacts' from the activity, write-this up and submit for individual marks. You will need to prepare a 400 to 500 word reflection on the artefact created in the Masterclass (poem, acronym or picture), which discusses: 1. The story of how the artefact connects with your own key learnings from the Masterclass 2. What you learnt through the process of creating the artefact together in your group, and 3. How can you translate these insights into action and actively plan for your future. 2 Whilst a reflective piece is written in the first person, it is expected that you will carefully edit your work prior to submission. You will be assessed not only on the content but also on how creatively and professionally you present your Mini Reflections. You are encouraged to incorporate relevant images in your reflections.
